PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

The eStrategy Specialist is responsible for application and technical support for all electronic services which includes Online Banking, Bill Pay, Mobile, Text, and Chat. This includes leveraging the functionality of the all Xceed's online applications, management of the vendor relationship, maintaining a professional working relationship with internal and external members of the applications, serving as the administrator, analyst and the highest level of troubleshooting expertise for Xceed's digital systems. This position is responsible for handling enrollments and maintenance for these services and for performing daily time sensitive duties with minimal supervision.

 

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

  • Serve as ultimate technical escalation point for assigned eStrategy/online applications
  • Develop and maintain technical expertise of assigned eStrategy/online applications
  • Assist in ensuring the seamless integration of all online systems – key focus on creating a consistent experience across all Xceed channels
  • Monitor and report the performance of all online/electronic services, web site, microsites, and other areas as needed. Serve as an internal expert for eStrategy systems
  • Ensure compliance with all federal regulations as it relates to security and soundness of our online sites, systems and communications.
  • Assist in developing and implementing new strategies to further online access and ease of use for members
  • Understand consumer behavior/trends and how that impacts Xceed's members
  • In coordination with business unit and technical staff, define, write and test technical specifications and assist in preparation of functional specifications
  • Serve as the technical liaison to other departments to research and/or resolve end-user problems or questions regarding online applications
  • Manage the installation of application patches, releases, and enhancements on development, test, disaster recovery, and production systems
  • Assist in developing disaster recovery plans for business applications.
  • Coordinate the development and maintenance of all procedures and documentation required for the effective operations of the eStrategy team.
  • Assist in Online Banking training for new and existing Xceed Associates
  • Have a thorough understanding of global Credit Union software applications and integration with XFCU systems.
  • Maintain effective communication with all Credit Union associates
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years experience working with financial institution software applications.
  • Ability to communicate professionally both verbally and in written correspondence with associates and members.
  • Must have the ability to work independently and as a team member, while using discretion in makings decisions and sound judgment when problem solving. 
  • Ability to plan, organize, schedule, and implement projects and in accordance with industry project management methodologies.
  • Must have a solid working knowledge of technical systems such as online banking and mobile banking. 
  • Must possess strong analytical skills and have the ability to draw conclusions and determine strategies based on data.

 

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS:

A/B.S degree in computer science, IT, business or equivalent work or educational experience.  Certification in applicable applications, or continuing education towards certification.
